This is the story about how I helped people to more easily make music with vegetables. Short version: I reprogrammed a device that could convert ordinary objects into computer keyboard keys to a device that could play music.

Meet Makey Makey

In 2013, right after I had my first Arduino I got a Makey Makey. And boy oh boy was I happy when i found out it actually was an Arduino. This meant I could reprogram it in the only language I knew back then.

I’m pretty sure I probably programmed it quite terribly but it worked.

I also used to call myself Mine Mooder back then.

What happened then?

People take it and make something with it.
